The Yard Camps

Our camps are geared for bikers, scooter riders and skateboarders of all levels. Each day will be a mix of lessons and free time in the park. For our younger campers we will also have games and crafts if they get tired or need a change of pace.

Lessons include an introduction to the park, an overview of park etiquette and safety, a review of equipment and lessons to progressively work on your campers' control and skills. Beginner lessons will focus on the fundamentals while intermediate and advanced campers will have a more tailored lesson plan. Some campers may have a specific skill or trick they are looking to master, while others may need some suggestions of what they should work on to get to the next level.

What's Included

Camps include lessons and supervision in Ottawa's indoor bike and skate park.  Food and equipment are not included.

Bikes, scooters and skateboards are all available for rental, as well as helmet and padding.  Equipment can also be purchased at our shop, Airborne Action Sports.

Protective Gear (new)

A full day in the park is fun and great exercise but at some point campers are likely to fall.  Having proper protection can be the difference between getting up and riding again or having to take a brake to nurse a bruise or cut.  As such, helmets, knee pads and elbow pads are mandatory.  Gloves are strongly recommended for bikers and scooter riders - nothing ruins a good day as fast as a blister.

Christmas Camp: Note that as New Years is a stat holiday, January 1st is NOT a camp day. Christmas camp is 4 days long (Monday, Tuesday, Thrusday, Friday).  We will be open on New Years for people to come ride/skate the park but will not be running camp that day.
